Error 500

This page is explaining what an “Error 500” message is. It is not, itself, an error message.

Error Code 500 indicates that our server has an internal error.

These are usually reported automatically to Builder Toots so that we can fix the problem.

As a player, unfortunately, there is not much you can do to solve this type of problem, but if you can cause it to happen at-will (eg, if it happens whenever you perform a certain action), you can Contact an Operator and Send debugging information to us.

Types of Error 500[edit]

Tootsbook, Wiki-Wiki[edit]

Tootsbook and the Wiki-Wiki use their own software (WordPress and Mediawiki, respectively). Errors in those programs will be reported to the authors of those products, and we will work with them to cure the problem. In the mean time, we might make small changes to protect against the problem.

Error 500 from game with Shade[edit]

If you are “kicked out” of the game and see the Error 500 screen with Shade, you encountered an error that made the game software unable to continue. This mostly would happen when first trying to sign in, or possibly after signing out. It has not been reported while anyone was signed in.

Error 500 from Mist Parrots[edit]

Within the game, the Mist Parrots may inform you of an Error 500. They should also be able to give you directions or further information about the specific effects it could have.
