Tootsville V uses a mesh networking to share the game play experience between players.

If the Gossip Mice complain about your network being behind NAT, it means your network is configured in a way that makes the mesh networking less effective.

The networking technology is based upon WebRTC, so it requires a pretty modern (2015/2016) browser.

Mobile Data Warning[edit]

Like pretty much any MMO, there's a lot of data flying around, so you probably do not want to play this game on a metered connection, like cellular.

Of course, playing over cellular, you'll probably get a lot of Lag as well.

Under the Hood[edit]

The type of mesh networking we use is based largely on “Gossip Networking.” The Gossip Mice are the in-game embodiment of the network itself. Other games might just show you a network icon or use pop-up windows, but we (at least ~~) like the mice better.
