If your computer is offline, you'll need to reconnect to the Internet.

Linux (Fedora, Ubuntu, Debian, etc.)[edit]

If you're using the Gnome desktop (you probably are), in the top-right corner of the screen are your settings. Click on the top-right corner and from the pull-down menu select Settings

In the left side, choose WiFi if you use a wireless connection, or Network if you use something other than WiFi (such as a wired connection or cellular modem) to connect.

For WiFi, make sure Airplane Mode is off. Choose your WiFi network name and click or tap to connect.


macOS[edit]

Open the Apple Menu and choose System Preferences. From the System Preferences panel, click the Network icon to review your settings.
