The “Hillside Demo.”
This version of Tootsville featured only one scene (recreated now as the Hillside garden) in which the Basic 8 characters could walk around and chat.
This appears to have been an “outsourced” work created by a subcontractor working for Res Interactive.

The Hillside Demo screen itself remained in the sign-up process through Tootsville III, as seen here:
