The servers should be “phoning home” with their own status reports.
This will be building upon the old Cæsar code, but with some major rewriting, to take advantages of other peoples' code.
(Basically, the stuff I wrote we shouldn't need most of it, any more, because everyone else has finally caught up to us.)
